MIAMI - March 8, 2000 - Lewis B. Freeman, the appointed Receiver for Professional Resource Systems International, Inc. (PRSI), announced today that he is actively seeking proposals from Internet technology providers to produce Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) Systems web pages with e-commerce capabilities for PRSI's 45,000 to 60,000 customers.
"We are currently speaking with several e-commerce companies that have expressed considerable interest in entering into an agreement to make the customer websites available quickly," said Freeman. "Most importantly, we are concerned with fulfilling the promises made by PRSI to its customers, that is, making sure that each paid customer receives the product he bargained for."
PRSI was closed in January of this year, leaving a large base of customers who have already paid a fee and expect to receive a SOHO and other services.
"This is an enormous opportunity for e-commerce companies to take advantage of thousands of customers already in place around the world," said Freeman. "We are working toward a rapid resolution which should be in place shortly."
Anyone interested in making a proposal or receiving additional information, please contact Lewis B. Freeman, Receiver, at (305) 443-6622 or e-mail LFreeman@lbfmiami.com.
